We are a volunteer, parent-run organization committed to making our school community closer, better informed, and more active. The PTCO provides programs and services which positively impact the lives of all Kent City Community Schools children and their families. Our purpose is to supplement the students’ academic program with meaningful, rich and rewarding educational experiences that foster student engagement and excitement. The PTCO fills a vital role connecting families with teachers, creating a strong school community by:
Sharing important information with the entire community through regular communications
Planning, coordinating and funding student activities
Showing appreciation of and supporting teachers and staff
Promoting community-building for families and teachers
Providing support for families in need, directly in our community
Creating an opportunity to meet one another and stay in closer contact with the life of the school
Provides an insider’s view into school operations and decisions that affect the school
Advocating for the school within the Kent City community
KCPTCO Board members along with parent volunteers and donors like you, make it possible for the PTCO to support our teachers and enhance the learning experiences of our children. We’d love for you to join us, click the button below for available opportunities.
Meetings are held at 6:30pm on the 4th Tuesday of each month in the Kent City Administration Building.
